This is a very nice replica by Diamond Select Toys. And while not 100% accurate, it is a great display piece. I would not recommend putting this one your car for two reasons: It isn’t a government issued plate, and I’m not sure it would stand up to the elements. It is, however, just as thick as a real license plate.
When it comes to accuracy, here’s what it lacks: The “AUG” and “CA 86″ stickers are printed on graphics opposed to actual stickers. The overall color of the plate is too dark. So, be sure to find real pictures of this product and not go by the picture shown. Everything else, the styling and font are accurate.
So, I would recommend this item if you are looking for a nice piece and fairly accurate replica from Back to the Future.
