  • I purchased this item on Crayola 120ct Original Crayons December 4, 2009

I have AMAZON PRIME, so I did not paid for shipping( Cool :>)

Let me tell you that when my little sister was going to Kindergarden, the school gave her a list of what they will use/need for the school period. On that list said ” buy 8 crayons-box from crayola “. So , i went to Duane Reade and buy it — for my surprise it costed $7.99 plus tax. In total was like $8.50+

I have this “thing” ONLY BUY AT AMAZON.So one day I went to the amazon`s sidebar and type in “crayola”. A huge list of items showed up. Scrolling down – something captivated my attention. There was this beautiful set of crayons and when I looked at the price I was like “WTF?” ‘ 120 crayons for 10.00?? OMG

So, by the end of the day I have purchased 2 set(2 boxes) of 120 crayons in total?, well you make the sum !

    240 crayons in total for 20bucks ! Don`t you love amazon? I DO !

Please read the PRO`S AND CON`S at the bottom.

  • What a wonderful creation. Art, in our house, comes in many colors Thanks to Crayola! We unfortunately never seem to have enough crayons, though!

  • When I was a kid, I used to hoard Crayolas in kindergarten – as soon as I got into the classroom, I’d start pocketing the slim treasures, so when “art-time” rolled around, I had all the good colors. (sigh)

Now I buy Crayolas all the time, and doodle while I’m on the phone, riding the bus, waiting for an appointment… I carry a “classic” 8-pack in my purse and a 64-pack in my carry-on suitcase for lay-overs at the airport.

How relaxing, how invigorating, how refreshing. Nearly as good as a Bliss Spa facial.

  • When I was a kid I went through a lot of toys. Kids do this sometimes. They pick up a toy and play with nothing else for days–and then they abandon it to the ever growing pile stacked on top of the toy chest. In my case, only three toys were excluded from this viscous cycle–my Matchbox cars, my Play-dough and my Crayolas.

You could walk into any room in our house, my mother tells me, and you would be in danger of landing on your backside if your shoe “hit” one of the hundreds of scattered Crayolas at exactly the WRONG angle. The Crayon would roll under the shoe and down you would go.

I don’t have that problem anymore, but sometimes I wished I did. I used to frequently eat at a Pancake House on the Upper East side of Manhattan–in part because they covered their tables in white paper and left a glass of Crayolas behind. Crayolas hold that kind of appeal, and when I have kids of my own there is going to be a box of Crayolas which show up like magic every year for them.

I just won’t let them write on the walls. My mother still won’t forgive me for THAT incident.

  • What more needs to be said? They are not possible to live without. They even make a great snack – ask my one year old.
