These mats are great, my son spits up a lot yet and this makes it much easier to clean up. I only wish the squares were a little bigger so they covered more footage.

The tiles are nice and thick and very colorful. The older kids enjoyed building cubes and spelling their names with the letters. The mothers of infants, however, were really anxious about the smell of the tiles. It’s awful. The tiles are invaluable for play on tile and outside surfaces. It’s really too bad that they do not appear to be more infant-friendly.

I am looking for foam tiles for my grandson, and this product has good virtues, regarding price and thickness and quality. However after I read some reviews that it is not safe for babies under 3 years, I went to the EduShape website and learned it has a choking hazard warning for under 3 years. The Amazon description for all ages, is incorrect.

I really like this playmat….we keep part of it in the kitchen and part of it in the livingroom…..the thickness has been satisfactory. The only thing that kept me from giving it a 5 star rating is that when we pick it up, the letters pop out sometimes. But that is a minor problem. Overall, a good quality product. I would order from them again.
