Never having played with a catch phrase game, I thought the music edition played a bit of the tune of each song. All the display shows is the title of the song and the artist.

I got this game for a gift and it is great! I have played the other catch phrases and they are all a great family and friends game! It is fun for all ages and fun when you all play together! I would highly recemmend this to anyone who enjoys a great get together game!

I purchased Catch Phrase Music Edition and haven’t had this much fun in ages. We laughed so hard and had such a great time. Our friends are anxious to come over again so we can play again. I recommend this for anyone who thinks they know music and are not embarassed to make a fool of themselves while trying to get their partner to guess the answer!

I bought this as a gift after many years of enjoying regular catchpharse. Its a great party game. But I think the 12 and up age is too young. I think (or thought) my friends and I are pretty knowledgeable in music… especially 80s music, but there are a lot of songs on the game we had never heard of. Its still a blast especially if you know the song and can sing some lyrics. You find out a lot of times you know a song but can only sing the title. Great game in a large group but not for kids.
