  • 1) This is a great idea for a game.

    2) The quality of this game is lower than things that I have gotten at a dollar store.

    3) I spent a half an hour assembing the game trying not to break the pieces.

    4) I was shocked to see that the game was made in the USA, as the product designer must be trying to make US manufacturing look bad. (As it is totally unassembled and flimsey, the profit margin must be huge, but that doesn’t make it right!).

    5) My son (4) actually asked why people would make the game so hard to assemble and flimsey.

    6) We enjoy playing it, but need to reattach/adjust the little doors continually.

    7) I’m so glad I did not pay full price for this.

    8) You could almost make a matching game in the time it takes to assemble this if you have a bunch of wood blocks sitting around.

  • Our boys, 5 and 6 1/2, got this for Christmas and played it for hours upon hours over Christmas break. It is by far the most successful board game we’ve gotten for our boys in terms of long-term interest and playability. They can play by themselves without assistance. Mom and Dad enjoy playing it as well. By the way, if your children are familiar with Star Wars characters, then your children don’t need to be able to read to play this game. Our Pre-K son plays the game just as well as our 1st grader because he knows the Star Wars characters well enough to play without having to read the names on the cards.

As for the durability- yes, sometimes the cards fall out of their slots and sometimes the plastic flip-cards come off of the board. This happens pretty often, but it’s not that difficult to fix and keep on playing (takes 5 seconds). We’ve gotten pretty used to having to adjust things from time to time and it’s worth it for us because we all enjoy this game so much. Besides, it doesn’t seem any different in quality than the other versions of Guess Who out there.
