Not nearly as fun as it looks in pictures. Boys got bored with it quickly.

I bought this for my two-year-old grandson, but his four-year-old and six-year-old siblings were also enthralled with it.

I read great reviews of this toy, but was disappointed with it. The balls and penguin do not fit into the top of the tower (ONLY the frog). Ball popper by hasbro. THe penguin does not make it down the spiral without assistance. My children kept trying to put balls into the tower and they did not fit.
We returned it and got the Ball Popper by Hasbro. (though I’m not a huge fan of toys that make noise and music the music is continuos and all my children (ages 1, 3, 5) spend HOURS with this one.

Product info
A spiral tower with a tube down the center and a push button to release whatever goes down the tube. The tower comes with a frog that whistles, a penguin that rolls down the spiral ramp and 2 light balls that roll down the ramp.
Cons
Pieces come apart a little too easy. Either by the toddler leaning to much on them or just by moving it around.
For my little guy a big con has been that the balls do NOT go down the tube and that all the parts are NOT interchangeable. For example, the penguin and the balls only go down the spiral ramp and the frog only goes down the tube.
Pro’s
Very cute frog and penguin characters.
Frog whistles as it falls down the tube.
The push button release makes a bell sound.
Makes a great marble track.
Overall the product is ok. Little hands can easily get stuck in the tube opening but that’s what supervision is for. It’s a bit pricey for what it is but I don’t regret buying it. Every child is different – my son could care less about the spiral ramp and he always goes for dropping things down the tube.

It sounds odd, but I have been looking for a good spiral toy since my 6 year old was a toddler. Now my 18 month old finally gets to have the toy I’ve been looking for all along! I bought an edushape toy that I thought would be good, but my boys just pulled it apart and never got to play with it because I had to constantly hunt down all the pieces and put it back together. This toy is much more durable and much more fun. I only wish it came with more balls, balls that rattle or have odd weights or something spinning inside or something–that would make it more exciting to play with. As it is, we happen to have lots of small balls that fit from other toys that were not as good! This toy captures both my boys attention several times a day and it stays put together for the most part. You can’t ask for more than that in an educational toy.
