  • My daughter plays with this one some, but she get bored rather quickly from this one. Basically it just teaches the giraffe to dance, because everyone told him he couldn’t. Maybe it’s because we have always told my daughter she can do what she wants to do, so she didn’t understand why he didn’t just practice?

  • My daughter was given the Tag reading system for Christmas. I found a few books that looked cute and she has them in her class. She really enjoys reading this book with her Tag.

  • I was a little hesistant about this book….not really sure what it was about. But I bought it anyway. Glad I did! My son loves music, so it was a great addition to those learned skills. It’s also really good to teach about confidence. Poor Gerald doesn’t think he’s a good dancer, so he doesn’t even try. It’s not until the cricket teaches him to let go of what others think and do what you feel….does Gerald learn to dance beautifully! It also teaches different dance styles, instruments and sounds. My son has also gotten really good at rhyming! It’s fun to watch him learn so much from a book!

  • I had never read this book, until I bought it for my daughter for Christmas this year with the “Tag Reading System,” but the story has a valuable lesson about not trying to be like everyone else, and finding out what is special about each person as an individual. Plus the illustrations are fun and help keep the pages turning.
