young son loves lego’s, they seem overpriced to me, but he gets alot of enjoyment out of this toy

My son got this power miner for his birthday. This toy has some interesting features like the drill that spins in both directions, lego sized chains and an internal compartment where you can store some small items. Putting it together was a snap for my son. After playing with it as is, he started to ‘modify it’ and make it better – after all isn’t that what LEGOs are all about?
The Power Miners are my son’s favorite LEGO sets and this was a good addition to his collection.

The Thunder Driller is awesome. I am 7 years old and it took about 1 hour to put together by myself. It is very fun to play with because both the wheels and the drill spin. When I opened it, it was much more fun than I had imagined.
It is very stable and does not fall apart much. When I open the top the chain makes it hard to take off but other than that its fine. I would recommend using it on flat surfaces or wood as the wheels don’t spin as well on the rug.
The Thunder Driller is so so so fun.
