I bought this for my nephew’s first birthday and he loved it. The blocks are nice and big so he can grab them and stack them with no problem. The dump truck is durable and can be used outside and inside for other things as well.

My 2 y/o son loves this truck the only thing I have against it is the bed comes off a little to easy and he has a little problem putting the bucket back in place.

I happened upon this boy at Babies R Us by accident, and oh my gosh – my son (2 years old) loves this truck! He pushes it everywhere all the time, and he loves to run behind it as well. I only give it 4 stars because parents have to help kind of unhook the bucket to do any dumping. I’m guessing this is why the little boy in the product pictures has it on its side – it’s the same thing my son does. I wish they would have made it simpler for little people to do this on their own. Also, as another reviewer said, the scoop can be awkward when taken out, because again, it is hard for little people to put it back the way it’s supposed to go, so then yes, it just drags along the ground as it gets pushed. It doesn’t slow my son down, and I wouldn’t not buy it for that reason. This truck seems to be very, very durable and I’m sure my little boy will enjoy it for as long as he needs.

We purchased this for our son this Christmas, he just turned one year old and the toy is age appropriate (putting everything in his mouth is also expected at this age). We noticed after 10 minutes chewing/playing with the construction man (who sits in the front seat of the dump truck), his mouth was covered in orange paint chips from the construction man’s hat. I am not sure where Megablocks manufactures these toys, many outsource to China. To be on the safe side, we took the construction man away. Otherwise, this is a good set of starter blocks, just disappointed that the paint chipped after 10 minutes of play.

Got this for our 18MO son and he loves it. The mega blocks are an added bonus and there are a few places on the truck to build the blocks onto.
