My friend’s daughter was delighted and my own grandchild beamed since she’d recently told her mom she wanted one of these for Christmas, and grandma came through.
These are super for little girls who like decorating projects.

My daughter and I had a great time assembling the sticky mosaic jewelry box. It’s easy enough for a five year old but a lot of fun for an adult to help with. It took a couple hours for the two of us to stick all of the stickers on, and in the end it was very attractive and a decent box to hold a little girl’s things.
There were extra stickers in each color, which was very helpful. The only reason it lost one star was that I have been finding those extra little stickers around the house here and there, and I was wondering how well the ones on the box will stay put.

This is a great little craft. Like paint by number but with puffy stickers. N0 adult help needed. No glue or mess. When she is done working on it for a while we store the stickers inside until she is ready to continue! Love it.

I should be clear, I don’t have kids. I bought this for a 6 year old niece who loves all things girly and arts-and-crafts like. So this review is coming from someone who has limited first-hand knowledge.
However, I’m so happy that of all the Christmas gifts given, this (ahem, mine) was the gift my niece wanted to play with first! It is cute, the size of the box is comparable to a larger index card box (but a little more shorter and stouter), and while at first glance it seems rather simple (it’s made of cardboard and the child is supposed to use these little stickers to place them in a pattern to cover it) the end product is super cute, and something she can be proud that she created.
Regarding educational value: obviously it’s not a ‘learning’ toy like a book or interactive computer program, but I think it does give practice with motor skills and usage of numbers (the design has numbers on each marker, signifying which color sticker to put).
Would I buy it again? Yes. I bought it at $15, although I think materials-wise it’s really worth $5-7. But then again, it’s all about how much they enjoy it and like it right? So in that sense I guess $15 was an ok price for it, but I don’t think I’d pay more for such a simple idea.

I purchased this as a project for my 6-year-old granddaughter. The box has a “mosiac by number” printed on it – boxes with numbers in them. The objective is to cover the numbered box with the appropriate color of stick-on. The stick-ons are very low quality. Most of the stick-ons are tiny foam squares, some topped with shiny paper to make them sparkle. They are very small and are placed very close together on the box. It was difficult to separate the foam pieces, peel off the foam backing, and place them properly. Some of the foam stick-ons had no adhesive. We had to use glue dots to place them. There are also some jewel stick-ons that go around the edges of the box. Seven or eight of the jewels had fallen off the plastic backing and were stuck to the inside of the box when I opened it. Some of the jewels lost their silver backing when when we peeled them off the plastic backing sheet, so you could see the number through the jewel when it was placed on the box. We couldn’t simply use a different jewel because there aren’t enough extras to compensate for the defective ones. We had to use glue dots for those, as well. The silver backing adheres to the glue, so when the silver backing peeled off the jewel, the glue was also still stuck to the plastic backing sheet. We had to be extremely careful in placing the foam stick-ons. The numbers are in boxes so large that the foam stickers barely cover them. There are only a few extras, so there’s very little room for error. My granddaughter loves decorating things, but this was very tiring and very frustrating for her. She lost interest very quickly. I ended up doing the box myself. From a distance the box looks okay, but close up, it looks cheap and gaudy.
