I purchased this for my daughter and even played with it myself. This is certainly a twist from the norm in building sets. So many things can be made and are movable when finished! It takes some practice figuring out how to align the pieces so that everything fits together where it needs to, which helps to develop thinking skills. This is a must for any age building toy fan! I do agree that younger children may have trouble making the characters or items in the pamphlet, but they can definitely still enjoy building with this toy.

  • I gave this Zoob set to my 6 and 4 year olds for Christmas. They both enjoy the toy and can use it effectively. The 6 year old immediately started using the pieces to make “people” in a very imaginative way. The 4 year old just loved clicking the pieces together in long lines. Even our 1-1/2 year old enjoys the colorful pieces and I do not see any swallow danger.

  • I have seen Zoob toys before. Back when I was a teen I worked in a restaurant that used them as table toys for the children when they first came out.

I debated between buying this 125 piece set, or a 75 piece box set. I decided on the 125 set after looking at the creations that can be made. I have a robot building fan at home, thought this would be nice as well.

This will be a x-mas gift for my 7 year old, and I assumed the package would be pretty large for the price. I WAS WRONG.

The box is quite small. This will not be the gift that gets all the ‘wows’ at christmas I’m afraid. For the price, I thought it would be more volume, but the tub is very small.

I am defiantly glad I ordered a zoob dude too (waiting for it to arrive). I hope this makes a good gift, bt it wont get the ‘wows’ this year!

This toy was suggested to us by our grandson’s preschool teacher. She said that all of her students were crazy about Zoobs. So we ordered them. Everyone of our grandchildren loves to play with them! As a matter of fact, they have become so creative with their Zoob building, that we have just ordered another container so that they do not run out of Zoobs before their masterpiece is finished. This is a fabulous toy! Even the adults get hooked on Zoobs!

  • My son (4 1/2) needed a strong, sturdy building / construction toy in order to use his imagination and create all kinds of shapes, vehicules, animals, letters, … something different from Lego. I did not know ZOOB before and I ordered it unsure how my son would like it: He loves it! It has been a fantastic toy. Older children (boys and girls) can play with it. It is quite impressive to see how the shapes interlock together. It definitely stimulates the “engineer” side of a child, very smart and colorful. We can totally recommend this wonderful construction set.
